The Apartment
Located in Porto Fluviale, an old industrial area next to the Tevere river, considered the street art outpost in Rome, between Testaccio and Trastevere, a relaxing and comfortable retreat within the Eternal City. On the second floor (with lift) of the historical Mulini Biondi complex, an old industrial mill, the apartment consists of a spacious living room with dining table, two double bedrooms both with a private bathroom and a well equipped kitchen area. Brightness and wide spaces characterize this cosy apartment, pleasing colours and a warm wooden floor make it ideal for a full relax at the end of a busy day.
Porto Fluviale (river docks) industrial area had a rapid growth at the end of'800, then it was nearly completely abandoned from 1950, now it's living a second life, becoming one of the most effervescent districts in Rome. Thanks to various recovery projects, the district returned to its old splendor, with new trends and new club bars, all embellished by Blu murals, one of the top influential street artists worldwide. The Gasometer, the Iron Bridge and the old powerplant Montemartini dominate the scene, Eataly food area brought back to life the old Air Terminal with its four floors of Italian food excellences to buy or taste there. With an easy walk from the apartment you can reach the old Trastevere and the heart of Testaccio, by tram within 15 minutes you are in Piazza Venezia, by metro within 20 minutes you are at the Colosseum.
